Hydra-Drive

The Harrison Hydra-Drive is a specialized gearbox designed to facilitate the integration of a variable displacement pump onto Ford 4x4 trucks. It serves to lower the PTO output by 8 inches and convert it to a SAE-B 2-bolt configuration. The Hydra-Drive operates as a 1:1 gearbox, meaning it does not alter the Power Take-Off (PTO) ratio. However, it does change the direction of rotation from opposite engine to engine rotation, with clockwise pump rotation being required.

- Input: SAE-A pilot with a SAE-B 7/8-13 tooth shaft
- Output: SAE-B pilot with a SAE-B 7/8-13 tooth spline
- Output Rotation: Engine (Clockwise pump rotation needed)
Compatibility
- HU507-GB13L Model: This model is designed for Ford 4x4 trucks equipped with the 10R140 transmission. A recommended PTO for this model is the Chelsea #210XMMFP-K4XP (144% ratio).
- HU507-GB12 Model: This model is compatible with Ford 4x4 trucks featuring the TorqShift 6 transmission. The required PTO for this version is the Chelsea #249 FMLLX-B4XP (124% ratio).
